Goal

The aim was to craft a fresh, intuitive website for children’s author Elizabeth Raum using WordPress, with a custom theme specifically tailored to her needs. The client wanted more than just content management; they needed flexible, structured ways to add books, upcoming events, and more, without having to rely on a developer. The custom build would include a child theme, styled templates, and custom post types and taxonomies, to empower easy site updates.

Result

The completed site features a custom WordPress child theme with unique styling and intuitive layout, giving Elizabeth full control over content. Custom post types and taxonomies organize books, events, and other materials in a clean, editable fashion, all manageable through the WordPress dashboard. Now, she can add new titles, announce events, and manage content independently, no developer needed, while maintaining a polished, modern appearance that reflects her brand and storytelling.
