First Church of God Greeneville

Goal

The goal for the Greeneville First Church of God site was to replace an outdated platform with a modern, fast, and easy-to-update experience. With a headless CMS (Contentful) powering the site via Astro, the church needed a visually engaging way to present sermons, moving from audio-only to video, and make those easily browsable. The rebuild also included custom event scheduling and small group listings, all designed to be maintainable by the church staff without developer support.

Result

The end result is a clean, responsive website built with Astro and backed by Contentful for simplified authoring. Sermons now feature video playback and filtering, making it easy for visitors to find relevant content. Event schedules and small group information are dynamically pulled in, providing instant updates and clear navigation. This rebuild transformed the outdated site into a high-performance, maintainable platform that serves congregants with modern features and intuitive content management.
